How can homeowners prepare for their first session?
Our homeowners can get ready for their first design meeting by compiling ideas from their favourite design magazine, TV show or even social media. Our design experts always encourage our homeowners to send a wish list prior to their initial meeting so they have the opportunity to start sourcing options and a plan to present homeowners with.
What kind of selections can homeowners make for their home at the studio?
Our homeowners are just as excited as we are that Terra View can offer various quality selections and customizations for their new home. Our homeowners can select everything from the exterior colour package to paint and flooring, from cabinetry and hardware to plumbing fixtures and trim — and of course every accessory after that throughout their entire home. Our design experts are always working to source new and upcoming design elements while including durable and quality products that will work for all of our homeowners and their family’s needs in their brand new custom home.
How long does this process take?
Our colour selection process starts by working closely with our homeowners to design their home’s interior finishes from top to bottom. Most of the time we take items from our homeowners’ wish lists into consideration, and then mix and match our homeowners ideas with the options we offer to create their dream home.
This process usually takes about 2-3 hours, and our compiled ideas and selections are recorded throughout our meeting to be sent to our homeowners after the session to allow time to review and discuss their selections in the comfort of their current home. Already have some questions in mind?

Do I have to make a final decision at our “Colour Selections” meeting?
We understand that this can be an overwhelming day with the many customization and design options in front of you! We never want our homeowners to feel in any way pressured to make final selection choices the same day, so that’s why we allow a week or so for our homeowners to take everything in and enjoy the process to its fullest.
Will you tell me if items I select do not work together in terms of design?
Of course! Our design experts want nothing more than our homeowners to fall in love with their home every time they walk through their front door. Designing is their greatest passion and they truly love to help make each design flow in all of the best ways possible.
Is it possible to source something that is not in the showroom?
Although we try to accommodate everything our homeowners are looking for, sometimes we just don’t have everything. Our design experts will always work hard to source out any wish list item for our homeowners with our trade partners that we may not have available in our Design Studio.
